The challenge

Coordinate a residential hardscape renovation in Marathon, including material sourcing, crew travel, and the connections between the home and its surrounding spaces.

The work

Existing concrete was removed and a new concrete sub-base prepared. Hand-shaped flagstone, decorative crushed stone, steel edging, and decomposed granite paths established transitions between the main residence and secondary structures.

Everyday function

The installation kept utility areas accessible and added an exterior hose bib. Agaves and other drought-tolerant planting complemented the stone surfaces.
